My research is focused on the development of new statistical learning/machine learning frameworks and methodologies that consider the prediction of multiple outcomes simultaneously while detecting novel relationships between these outcomes that increase prediction accuracy. This includes developing new computational tools, software, and theory to support these methods. I’m specifically interested in applications in business operations and healthcare. Furthermore, healthcare I am also interested in developing methods and infrastructure for machine learning tools and frameworks to be deployed in rural settings to increase health outcomes in rural populations.
